Warranty Information
New Equipment:
New items sold by Reef Photo & Video are warranted
by the respective manufacturer. Should you have a warranty claim, we will be glad to assist you with your
claim, or you can contact the manufacturer directly.
Pre-Owned Equipment:
Pre-owned equipment is warranted to be as represented in the product listing, in good working order, and pressure tested where applicable.
Should your pre-owned equipment purchase not be as represented, Reef Photo &
Video will repair it, replace the item with a comparable item or issue a
refund of the purchase amount at our discretion.
Transportation costs of
the equipment is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Important: This
warranty does not cover suitability, misuse, abuse, impact or shipping
damage, or any modification or service performed by anyone other than
Reef Photo & Video.
Service and Repair:
Reef Photo and Video warrants our service and repair work under normal
use for a period of 90 days from date of receipt. Since flood damaged
cameras, strobes, or housings can develop unforeseen problems over time, we only warrant the
parts we have replaced. The liability of Reef Photo & Video is limited only to
the work we performed and the repair of this work. Always inspect and
clean the user o-rings of a freshly serviced item as packing material
can settle onto the camera.
Warranty Evaluation:
Equipment designed for use underwater has o-rings that must
be maintained by the user prior to submersion. The industry standard test
to determine product failure or operator error is to inspect, clean and
lubricate o-rings and o-ring channels, assemble as per the manufacturer's
instructions, and then pressure test at our facility.
Returning Products
Before returning your product(s), please print out and complete a Return Merchandise Packing Slip and include it with the returned items.
Please
retain a copy of this document for your records.Please pack the
products in a sturdy box with sufficient padding and always insure the
box for the full replacement value. We strongly recommend that you ship
via UPS, FEDEX, or any other courier that offers door-to-door tracking.
